Warm winds kissed my eyes
Strings snapped and fell
and pulled me into the air
where the waves moved along
giving the gift of deep breaths
and warm skin
and letting the science of excitement grab the wheel and drive
the weightless cloud of control
where it needed to be
balanced on rocks' impossible angles
only for today
and forever in my mind
