Suffer Will You

Contributed by pixie on Saturday, 28th August 2004 @ 08:49:57 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

Painfully suffer will you,
Just as Ive had to do,
All through my days,
You thought you could get away.

But not anymore,
I have now shut your door,
You have no way of escape,
I will bound your soul with tape.

Just as you did to mine,
You took away my shine,
Left me dying at your feet,
Now revenge for me will be sweet.

You thought you had defeated me,
Im too strong, you failed to see,
It is you who will meet death,
I will take from you your last breath.

I am your worst nightmare,
Your sanity I will scare,
Until you have nothing left,
Leaving you in torments cleft.

I laugh at your demise,
Sorry no time for goodbyes,
You surely got was coming,
I am the one who stopped you running.

Wow... that was a pretty powerful poem. I think the best poems can be triggered by anger. I like this one!

Okay this is going to take a while......

First of all as simple as the opening line was, it was one of the most catchy lines I have read in any poem, even dating back to Beouwulf, (which I believe covers every known poem ever written), maybe In the beginning catches a little better, but that was God so I can see how he would overtake you, but other than God you have the most catching, and engulfing opening line I have ever read.

Painfully suffer will you,

The amazing thing is that it is so simple, but yet amazing in fit.

Now, the idea of this poem is simply astounding.
Unique, and very note worthy. You flow is fabulous, and surprisingly you do not seem repetitious about a single thing, as most poet's who write about depression do. You seem to say all you need to say, and leave out just before this hits a rambling state. This is an absolute classic poem!!!

I love it!!

10 / 10 WOW!

Some interesting thoughts here. I'd doublecheck a few spellings, etc, but there's a definite chill. I wouldn't want to be your enemy.
