Hearing your voice on the phone Makes me want to rush right home Knowing that I will see your words Makes me want to leave the herd.
You make me feel what I never thought I could The mysteries you hold from me make things good I try not to get attached for things sometimes go astray But every time I think of you I want to stay.
Phones give me such trouble as they leave me shy But with you I still talk by and by I do doubt that you truly like me And my past stays with me like it shouldn't be.
I learn new things everyday You make me think of flowers blooming in May A beauty they posses oh so unique One I know I can show you and you won't critique.
Maybe everyone can learn something in life A man in Macon may soon find his wife Though we are not attached I find it hard to look Elsewhere I search but nothing is as good as your book.
A book of life, so full of details Ones so meek and mild that contain no tales You seem so truthful that I sometimes wonder If my doubts should just stay ablunder.
In time I know I can trust A man who hits my spot, and not bust Give me time to overcome And you will hear our hearts beat in unison like a perfect set of drums.

This poem has sweetness and simplicity of expression, and including one or two fine thoughts...You seem so truthful that I sometimes wonder
If my doubts should just stay ablunder.
