Oh faith, what a precious commodity to be
All based on something we cannot see
Yet if someone looks in the right places
There it is expressed on all our faces
What a wondrous gift to bare
Especially if with others we are willing to share
Yet there are those who don't believe
When of such emptiness they could be relieved
If only they could accept the promise given
That our Savior and Lord has truly risen
He is everwhere around us present
And within us His Holy Spirit resides effervescent
How do you know the skeptic will say
I want proof of His presence today
He resides with each within our heart
For that is where the loving feelings start
Our very capacity to love you see
Is His wondrous gift to you and me
It is not something that is earned by us
But rather a gift given out of trust
No one is really deserving you see
Of this wondrous gift to you and me
But it is a treaure of essence to be
In Holy Communion with you and me
For Lord without you to dust do I return
With no Sacred Spirit to yearn
To the heavens with you do I soar
To reside with you forever more
In my place that you have prepared for me
Is where I will reside along with Thee
So to all the skeptics I would say
That the Lord Jesus is the way
For our eternal salvation could be a loss
If we do not accept His sacrifice on the Cross
So I thank and bless you for the entire nation
For without you there is no salvation

Thank you for the encouragement and uplifting remarks on "Saving Grace". Perhaps your past may be called upon in the near future.
Now for "Faith", It is great to watch as you venture and explore in your writing styles and your word choises. This is a triumphant move into greater self expression. A wonderful write.
