against the flow of time you battle existence
holding back the truths of life
giving visions of pain to the people
through the beauty of a knife
forbidden pleasures are locked in your closet
and you have lost the only key
now those pleasures have turned to nightmares
all of which are breaking free
this shouldnt be the climax of honesty
in the middle of a lie
as your mascara runs down your lifeless cheeks
you let the bullets all pass by
tortured by the unconditional love you have
youve tried to through it away
the never-dying pains that truth has cost you
deteriorize your heart everyday
forget all of the problems youve caused
which make your life hard
and you must face reality in all this
of all the chances youve barred
