hello world here i am waiting to take you on
what do you have to offer me travel happiness
ill take what you have to offer me is it free
show me something new something i havent had
the world is open for the taking
i dont want anymore heartaches ive had enough
ive had all the pain for one lifetime thank you
now im ready for some happiness its my turn
i want happy memories to always draw on now
the world is open for the taking
it seems as you get older and tragedy strikes
your priroities begin to change thoughts turn
you find better values in life to be had
you want only happiness and joy good things in life
the world is open for the taking
so now i spend my time on the good things
im happy in my garden planting and designing
playing with my animals and loving them all
and reading my favorite books late at night
the world is open for the taking
