Because of you, I believed someone could love me
Because of you, I believed anything could be
Because of you, I believed I could touch the sky
Because of you, I believed I might cry
I believed it would it would stay like that forever
Nothing would change, not now or ever
That's where I went seriously wrong
Those days didn't last all that long
And yet I wonder why my feelings are the same
Because of you, this love thing is lame
Because of you, I got worked up about one boy
But you treated my heart like a play toy
You tossed it around like it was nothing at all
Our relationship has taken it's great fall
Because of you, I still feel this way
Because of you, there are no words to say
Because of you, now i feel so small
What was the reason i got involved at all?

A great writea bit comtemporary, but excellent none the less.
I hope that you can move beyond this bad relationship. I know it takes time. It took me forever to see past my first six bad relationships, but I pray you find a good one sooner than that. |
