Empty Inside
You can see it in my eyes
I'm empty inside
An endless void of nothingness
Never to be filled to the brim
With any other feeling but this
My soul is the darkest abyss
Reality I cannot see
My feelings I can't keep
They replace themselves
By my negativity
I want so much more
But I fail even before
When I give up and let go
Couldn't hold myself from falling
Into the abyss that I've become
I wanted so much more
But I've fallen too far below
To deserve anything anymore

| it's funny how many ppl feel the exact same. it was a good poem because i feel like i could have said the same. you do deserve more tho, no one should feel empty and no one should make anyone else feel empty...maybe i should heed my own words hey? |
