Falling.
Falling apart.
I'm reaching out
my hand to you, and
you're not there.
Where are you?
We are drifting
apart, and I'm
trying to reach
you, but you're
not meeting me
half-way, and I'm
losing the energy
to try harder. Help me!
12 years of fun
and laughter, and
I feel I"m losing you.
What happened?
Just a simple, "How
are you doing?" or
"I love you", would
brighten my day.
I care so much
you, and I out-do
myself trying to
show you I care,
but I've never gotten
the same response
from you. I'm scared,
my friend. I need you
to comfort me, talk to
me and be there for me.
And yet I feel like your life,
interests, and boyfriend
have become your main
priorities, and I've been
shoved into a file cabinet
in the back of your mind. I
just want to talk to you like
I used to. About anything.
Everything. But I also need
you to listen. To accept the
problems we have in our
friendship, and work with me
to resolve them, instead of
shoving them aside. Please
don't sigh and moan, and
act annoyed when I try to talk
to you about things that are
important to me. I try to listen to
your desires. I'm not asking you
to be perfect. I'm just asking that
you listen to and respect the
opinions and feelings I have,
and that you hear me out all
the way without interrupting.
I miss the laughter. I miss the
jokes. I miss the love. I miss you.
Come back. Please.

This seemed more like
a letter to me than anything
but your words of expression
are deep and clearly spoken
