would it be useful
just an ounce of respect
crafted in as a hymnal
wash away every contempt
and it soars well i'm bored
just as before and soon ignored
sure, alright.
as worn down in process
no excuse for this excess
true
what about you
as whimful as circumstance
oh yes i can take that chance
in tune
and there's you.
there will be none of that
but that is already there
you can quite your stares
as if you cared
then
there will be no pretend
and again
this will be at the end
of ourselves.
one more chance to get things right
you can bet i want to go home tonight
right at our ends we won't pretend
no more, let's pretend.
perhaps it's hopeless
wish for something i can't
supplement an emotionless
state of foolish rants
oh no more what's it for
soon i'll adore the back door
good, exit.
and the signs are telling
with a feeling so compelling
cool
what's it to you
a cold hearted fateful dance
made to a new found romance
cool
and what have you.
there can be no more of that
but that's been already there
you can quite you stares
no you don't care
then
there is no more pretend
yes again
this will be at the end
of ourselves.
this one chance to get things right
you can bet that i'll see home tonight

the unthinkable tease will toy with the logic
and happenstance heaves through endless projects
i'll not go down there
stay on top
just a chance well get it right
