blind folded

Contributed by Hakiokusaken on Wednesday, 1st September 2004 @ 01:41:02 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

as i walked around blind folded
lies to friends i have spoken
seemed alive but dead inside
that reflected image often made me cry
for every tear drop, there was a sin
when friends would ask me how ive been
id tell them "great never been better"
when all along i was under the wheather
violent storms and acid rain
all my sheets had a painful stain
i couldnt see and i hated to live
but all the tears and pain, i hid
until a friend saw past my strife
oh, dark one. just changed my life
i no longer fear to live so blind
my hand to his and his to mine
i was very weak but now im strong
here in hell is where i belong

A symphony of inner thoughts and pain, very well written and let loose, images galore, filled my head as I read, emotions tore me back down to earth, as your poem progressed.
Beautifully written.

take care always
