One Single Drop

Contributed by hollie85 on Tuesday, 5th November 2002 @ 03:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I stand in a thousand thoughts,
of how to end my life.
To rid of the pain and confusion,
thats burning at my heart.
I cut through my soft skin,
a single drop of blood emerges.
It glistens sitting on my wrist,
before pelting to the ground.
In one quick movement,
I make the ultimate slice.
The one that ended my life.

I just want to say that i hope that it will not ever have to come to this....so many times we look at all the pain in our lives and redigest all the bad times.... we can spend our time alone redigesting past regretts or we can come to terms and realize that we are the only ones who can forgive ourselves...it makes much more sense to live in the pressent tense.....
thanks for sharing
john
