You put me in my place It was after you crushed me Crumpled on the floor Pieces all over the place, pieces of me
It all started out when you heard me Flying around the room It's like you saw a ghost A werewolf howling to a crescent moon
You couldn't make up your mind Your eyes were all over the place A smile spread across it And you spread me across your face
You could be my angel if you wanted to Take me to a place that I will never know Crazy as I sit here on the wall and watch you My field grows under the snow
Cold and dark when the lights go out I can fly all night But you'd come back in the morning Crush me crazy when u turn on the light
Hushed whispers that you promised Forever that you'd keep me small You crushed me after your smile faded But you're still smiling at this fly on the wall
