Tomorrows

Topic: LovePoetry

Sing me a dream of your soul,
and Ill hum along a tune that
will never fade awaysing me a
smile that will make the stars stay.

Call out to me when fires burn
in the forest and hopes in the eye,
Ill walk with you through the
valleys that reach under the waves.

In the shadows of the seasons,
every moment has a shape
a place where well find rest
till the dawn comes again.

Tomorrows lie waiting among
the roads of today, merging and
separating, till without expecting,
somewhere well step into them.

Deep calls to deep and hearts listen,
only one more distance to go, remains.
When the seas of forever cover the dryness
of time, find me therewhere I found you.

Noticed you checked out my poem so decided to check yours out. Looks like I'm the early bird on this one! I loved your poem and look forward to reading more of your work. Peace.

"In the shadows of the seasons,
every moment has a shape…"

Rhythmic and vividly drawn out. I would have liked you to expand upon the shapes, perhaps to give them more presence as to the form of shelter or solace . . . yet this doesn't matter as much because you allude to 'deep calls to deep', and this makes up for it in part - a connection made.

I like your final lines, and am drawn over the complexity of your expression.

Well written, with thanks.

Beautiful imagery. Beautiful words.

I’ll walk with you through the
valleys that reach under the waves

These especially caught my eye. Something in them just grabbed me.
Thanks for sharing a wonderful work of art.
Take care.
David

Bravo! This was lovely.

Deep calls to deep and hearts listen,
only one more distance to go, remains.
When the seas of forever cover the dryness
of time, find me there…where I found you.

Wonderful lines. Your writing is a pleasure indeed.

Andrew
