Sitting with my jam jar by the water Amazement gazing up at me Fish across reflected eyes
Sitting with my homework by the water The softest whisper of recorder Tumbling to the politics of life
Sitting with my lover by the water Holding hands, embarrassed Shaking in that voiceless land
Sitting with my children by the water Stealing time from work Years lost to doing things
Sitting with my grey hair by the water Something new squints back at me And then is lost
Crushed beneath the memories

this is like a set of overlapping Norman Rockwell scenes, the setting stays the same but the picture changes with time and season. It is like looking into one of his paintings with one of his calanders flipping in the background.
I really like this. I hope my explination made sense.
