LoveRemembered
|
------------------
I remember you
You were my first love, my first lover You made me laugh, you gave me confidence... Confidence to stand on my own.
But life put obstacles in our way Our paths sundered Once sundered, never to rejoin.
You were full of poetry, And impossible dreams I needed more than dreams, so
I reached for security But not to you: Right or wrong I chose another.
That I hurt you, I know, Im sorry. Still, if it is Any balm for your soul
I remember you . . .

Who is not lost to the memories of yesterday
and bound there by the regrets of the soul.
Good read,
