I wish I could take a spoon
and carve out my brain
I wish I could burn a hole through my thoughts
because you won't go away
My temple is bleeding
from incessant beating
against a brick wall
because you're so frustrating
My eyes are burning
the razor blade's stinging
Failed attempts to rid this pain
You've broken my heart again
I've reserved you a corner
where I've tried to push you farther
but you keep resurfacing
and I keep falling
because my heart is so weak
and your love is so bleak
I've tried not to let it show
but I'm finding it hard to let you go
