I don't want to be a victim
of your lies and clever deceptions
I don't want to fall again
with the ground in your hands
I don't wan to cry at night
because my mind can no longer push you away
I don't want to have to hold on so tight
to live to see another day
I don't want you to have control
I don't want you to possess a piece
I just want you to know
just how a breaking heart reallly feels
I don't want to be foolish
gullible or naive
I don't want to feel stupid
after you've conned me to believe
I don't want to be left with nothing
after you fool me then toss me away
I don't want you to have anything
if you're just going to hurt me anyway

Lots of pain found in your words.
Love (real enduring love) shouldn't make you feel negative. You will have good and bad times but based on this poem it seems very dark.
Do what makes you feel happy inside.
