Now that youre gone
Nothings the same
Everything feels wrong
Lifes no longer a game
I dont know why you went
But its so hard without you
My perspective is bent
I try but cant seem to
Im living alone now
Just me and my cat
And I dont know how
Im gonna live like that
I remember the good times
Ive forgotten the worst
And these mediocre rhymes
Make me wanna curse
I cant seem to express it
What Im trying to say
Maybe Im just obsessive
But it wont go away
Its something I cant explain, feel that Im missing
Ive been kidnapped, taken away
Its only your lips, Ive dreamt of kissing
I only hope that someday
Ill taste them again
In that unworldly place
If that happens and when
Ill imagine your face
All bright with sunshine
Withheld in your smile
Your beauty all mine
Its been worth it all the while
But till that time comes
My skys will be gray
And smiles will be refused when directed my way
And because you are gone, I will be in a daze
Forever amen, forever, always
