Meet Me Under The Tree.

Topic: LostLove

So let me tell you something I really think you need to know,
Though you might just shut down and not hear a word, I say.
I think it is important for you to know you do not belong to yourself.
I watched you for so long now and I do not like what I see.
The boy that I once knew is now no more.

I cannot help but think about you now as I sit here alone in my room.
You are so different, so screwed up now.
I think being your self hurt you some how, it is as if you think you are not good enough for them. Well you need to know you are.
Hiding behind what they tell you, you have lost your self somewhere.

I just think you need to know, I know who you really are,
The boy that helped me through my days.
However, that boy disappeared to long ago.

So, cant we just meet under the tree in the field like we used to?
Cant we just be friends no matter what they tell you?
Why does it matter to you?
So they say Im a freak and a loner,
So they tell you Ill hurt you for no reason,
They know nothing.

Please come back to me. Be the one that knows me.
Be my only friend like you used to be.
Come back.
Havent you heard what they say about you?
They call you stupid behind your back.
Cant you see their opinions make no difference?

Be the one that helps me, be the one that saves me.
I know Im young and dont know everything,
But I know you, the way you used to be.

So meet me under that tree and take my hand.
Come back and be the person I know you are.
Dont hide yourself behind their lies anymore.
Dont be the one that goes along with everything they say.
