i'm jealous of the way you cry
the way your tears flow
so perfect and so clear
the way you feel when all is said and done
the way you smile
the way you laugh
the way pain passes
such a blessed child
the way the end of the world only comes
because he just wants to be friends
the way there's a few kind words from friends
and then it's all over
because my tears are red
and i can't make them stop
and my smiles are fake
they just hide scars
like sleeves on my arms
and it takes so much more
and i'm so drained
and i'm so jaded
and silly you will never know
when you flash your eyes from brown to green
and pretend to give a ****
i beat you to it
you just can't see it
