The Trip

Contributed by deadheadpoet on Monday, 6th September 2004 @ 01:32:11 AM in AEST
Topic: NaturePoetry

I wish for quiet tranquility and peace of mind.
Long lazy days relaxing in warm sunshine.
Fields of wild flowers enticing me with scents so sweet,
and soft green grass to gently tickle at my feet.

I long for warm fresh air to deeply inhale,
and endless bright blue skies.
Scattered puffy white clouds, please...
to shield the sun from my eyes.

I want a cool crystal clear spring of which to take long delicious sips.
Nourishment for my soul on these joyous trips.

That's a beautiful wish, Laurabean. :) Short, sweet, and joyous with wonderful imagery.

It was like that today. It got up to 84. Very nice. I think your wish floated up this way today and graced us all. Thank you.

Tim
