the sky turns bright
It breaks my heart
I long for night
The day wears on
the earth moves 'round
For by our hearts
I feel we're bound
Not by flesh
nor blood alone
Have you made
my heart your own
The day you came
my heart was true
You filled my world
with love for you
I've missed you so
hours seem like years
The world a blur
through all my tears
To have you back
hold you in my arms
To know your love
to feel your charms
You brought me hope
your touch is wild
You've helped to make
the rough parts mild
You filled my life
you let me feel
You've shown me love
you helped me heal
For that alone
you'll always be
Someone special
and real to me
I felt I'd write
to let you know
How much I care
I love you so
Next time you see
the sky so blue
Know in my heart
