Sober eyes
fading cries
lingering faith that dies
Where will the Angel sleep?
Falling tears as she begins
to weep?
Your promises die faster than roses.
You try to get away with all your wrongs.
Can't you hear the faithful songs?
It calls to you
You indignant, malicious shard of
fury.
Hush young one,
your Angel weeps...
but not tears.
Whispers of tunes
dance in the rain
The Angel will wash away all of your pain.
