I pull the flesh away to stare
I see your raw, I see you bare.
I see the hurt you've given me,
Trickling down, your blood will flee.
I just wanna break away from you
and the pain that you angrily ensue.
I bleed red wine
Our souls entwine
The hatred dangles on each word
tipping ever so slightly,
The things you used to say,
Our hearts bound so tightly.
I dropped like a stone
You left me alone
You abandoned every thought...
refused the love I sought.
For me, faith will light each day
For you, your heart will bleed away.
