I try to speak,
But you don't get it.
You feel safe
When you're apathetic.
Your problems grow
Into dark clouds and then
You run and hide,
You never face them.
You've got the soul
Of an endangered coward.
You never take the time
To stop and smell the flowers.
You are laughed at,
But you don't know it.
You take love,
But you never show it.
Some day later,
Maybe then you'll see
What a bane, what a thorn
You were to me.
