Everyone these days just seems so complete,
As I sit here alone in silence and defeat,
What is it that Im missing deep inside?
Where my emotions linger, dwell and hide,
It feels as if I have half an empty soul,
Something just isn't there to make me whole,
I want so much to have strong arms around me,
To hold me in a loving imbrace for all to see clearly,
I want someone to love and call my own,
Not always having to be this way; alone,
I have made it this far all by myself before,
So why can't I do it longer, why not some more?
But is it what I want or what I need?
Should I learn to live at a slower speed?
I guess that I'll just wait until the right time,
When our stars cross and the planets align,
And I refuse to give up hope no matter what I do,
But no matter how hard the battle, I will make it through.
