The rain fell
It pooled
upon the front yard walk
Where have you gone
I am lost without you
The thunder echoed
rumbling on and on
rolling like a giant coaster
Where are you now
I really need to know
I watch rain drops
falling lazily, tiny movements
upon the window pane
What have you done
I feel so alone and shattered
The air is cool
It smells so fresh
mixed with the scent
of the earth washed clean
Where have you
taken my heart
