Having left the cafe, we crossed San Marco Square
A Gondola Ride through Venice, was waiting for us there
Arriving at the waterway, we took the first gondola
Passing through the waterways, going very very slowa
How romantic this was, the gondalier at his best
He sang to us continuously, we were totally impressed
We held each other closely, kissing now and then
The last night we have together, until who knows where or when
Back to the hotel to change, our last dinner will be tonight
A sumptuous meal and some dancing, an evening of pure delight
