I can't lie
I've got it bad for you
Best described as the 'isms'
All up in my bones.
I don't need to see you
I feel you.
Where ever you are
So I am too.
Don't ever think you can just go on as you were.
Don't you see?
I'm all up in you,
Just as you are in me.
Forget being individuals...
Us is now 'we'.
So look at it
Can't you see?
Things ain't what they used to be.
Truth be told,
Yeah, I want to be free.
Love?
Nah, I don't love you anymore.
See, I once trused you with all of me
And my heart
Which I placed tentatively in your hands.
It was too late before I discovered
You didn't know how to hold it
To shelter it, keep it safe from harm,
It was too late before I discovered
What I handed you, you couldn't even handle.
So I took it back.
But I can't lie...
I still got it bad for you.
