Destiny (so sorry)

Topic: SongLyrics

Back at home now
feels so empty, and a light shoots out
and escapes me
pressured, measured up to standards that I could never be
for it now has slipped away
and leaves me broken
theres nothing I can say or do
to change it know, appologize, realize that its useless

In spaces of the mind
you keep searching, you might not like what you find
nothing decent or exceptable
not capable of being like you or anyone
nothing left, I am nothing

Destiny
never worked out for me
and I see
We could never be
because I can see
your destiny

so sorry
so long
so what

Heavy footsteps
mark the hallway, in the distance
I hear the band play
see the sunrise, and the moon fall
to weak to stand, but still to stuborn to crawl
away from you as the building crumbles

A whisper
In my ear, push the brush away
making the route so clear
follow strait, carry on, dont live my life

Destiny
never worked out for me
and I see
We could never be
because I can see
your destiny

so sorry
so long
so what

likewise
it is the same, fortune tellers
calling out my name
shut the gate, slam the door, leave me open
for anyone to take a shot
I only fear what fear is not

and I saw my face
staring back at me
but not in a mirror
in your eyes I caught the reflection of me
maybe blind, maybe sign, but your too kind

Destiny
never worked out for me
and I see
We could never be
because I can see
your destiny

so sorry
so long
so what
