Time ticks so slow
Mocking the dead soul within me
Red eyes from not sleeping
Trying to believe the dream and lose the memories.
Wiping away the tears that never fell
I look down to find the cars zooming by
Screaming agony erupts from my throat
Unhindered by the spell that binds me
Letting go of the feelings I never had
I take a step toward the freedom that I've selfishly wanted
Holding onto nothing as I watch the cars zoom by
Waving goodbye to the people who stand by
I am a doll, a useless, selfless, doll.
And I will not tolerate it no longer
Goodbye.

| i think this poem is one of the best i've read today - a really nice simple pice i like the way you dont go overboard and complicate things it makes it nice and easy to follow what your saying.. |
