Pondering thoughts of satisfaction and glory As you slowly slip in and out of consciousness Surviving the nightmares, points you in the right direction Slaving away to your tired eyes results in nothing Drift away, while closing your eyes; I'm nothing to you Success could have been your's, but you rejected me Like a leaf on a lonesome branch, I'll wait You'll plant yourself next to me, I know I thought I knew but it turns out I'm ignorant Ignorant like a spoiled kid who doesn't know how to read I am him and I will always be Go away; leave me here alone, to survive my own self pity I feel sorry for me, but I don't know why The only thing wrong with me is you
