You painted an erotic picture for me,
your words like fingers down my spine.
I imagined the movement, the throb.
I warmed with the picture in my mind.
You painted with heat and power,
and I begin the trip inside
my mind where the colors glowed.
The red of passion, the white of heat,
the unearthly satin pink of warmed skin.
Each brush stroke wide and flared,
each nuance delicately drawn.
You painted an erotic picture for me,
and compelled by your artistry,
I fell deeper in love with the artist.

I struggle to do what you've done so well will this as I tend to embarrass myself into thinking others won't want to read it!

Dean, This is one of my favorites, of my own work that is, and I don't have very many of my own stuff that I actually like. I thinkt that I am too critical on my own stuff. But this is one ot the two poems of my that have been published. The other one is "A Place" that was my fisrt poem to be published. Anyway I am glad that you like this one so much. Thanks for the comment.
