it's a candle light night you've given me
i remember them oh so well
it's a candle light night you've given me
ahh the stories the flame could tell
romantic times
storybook lines
knights who ride white horses
saltless tears
small children's fears
we're lovers on different courses
it's a full moon out tonight
i just don't want to fight
it's a full moon out tonight
that wouldn't be quite right
little girls standing by
they have tear drops in their eyes
little girls feeling sad
how can parents be so bad
flame still flickers
just can't sleep
burns in the dawn a new
flame still flickers
just can't weep
what more can one flame do
romantic times
