Dusty pink cellophane wraps me I drown in waves of arrogance Fishnet conflict, my dreams your sea Rolling waves toward your influence.
Simpler words reach, and cant suffice What way to tell the untold truth When tides are pulled in steeper price Than simple words could ever soothe
Grief unfolds on shores that lure To grains of sand that wear away These hearty blocks til cleansed and pure And grief moves on in softer way
But in your arrogance you see This drowning fool of pink and plea Transparent souls disparity What is what was and what cant be
Smile as if this were about you While waves in thunder crash my shore While knowing what couldnt be more true A simple grain, and nothing more.

Grains of truth?
"Fishnet conflict, my dreams your sea
Rolling waves toward your influence."
I like it, and have foundered in such a sea before.
