Unstill water sways me to and fro
Search beyond the dock; wonder where you would go
Stare at the rope that shackles me to shore
Think of the ones youve left me for
A lifetime to wait and never to sleep
Dream of dancing where water runs deep
Look out again, seeking your smile
Face Ive never seen all this while
Angry waves, the wind grows stronger
Churning stomach cries wait no longer
Time to abandon peace for the sea
And sever the cord thats binding me
