Tears of Light

Contributed by Katie2008 on Monday, 13th September 2004 @ 07:20:51 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I fell through the darkness
Stumbled towards the light
Cried tears of dark red blood
And sought comfort in the knife
I could never remember the last time someone cared
Or the last time I loved with the feeling shared
Until that night you reached out
And touched my frozen hand
You broke the barrier of ice
Surrounding my black heart
The feeling of being so alone
And never trusting anyone
Seemed to melt away
As you took my hand and lead me towards the light
You told me that you loved me and I'd never die alone
My face is smeared with blood red tears
From darkness and despair
But now I'm slowly returning back to what was once my life
And my eyes are brimming over with tears of light

Very sad and good in a way but it's written well.
I really don't see why anyone would have a hard time understand it. It's bitter sweet.
Great work!
luv, huggs, prayer,
emy
