Intentions Aside

Contributed by laurenwash on Tuesday, 14th September 2004 @ 10:50:14 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

It happened again today,
You unintentionally turned me away.
Disappointment lined my face,
With hurt I couldn't escape,
I hope it was good what you had,
That it was worth making me sad.
Cause I'm sure that its true,
I know I'm better for you.
So now that we'll never be us,
And you'll never feel my touch.
Sit and think for sometime,
About what made you decide,
To throw my love away;
Throw it right back in my face.
I know that you'll be mad,
Think of the times we should have had.
Its not what I intended us to be
I wanted us to try, you and me.
But this wasn't my choice,
Your actions took away my voice.
I have to turn you away,
I just can't risk the pain.
Its your fault we'll never be
Even if it was unintentionally.

Im sorry that things didnt work out for you. Always remember though that there are many fish out in the sea. You will find someone better and things will be spectacular between you two. I hope things get better for you as life goes on.

Great write by the way.
