WONDERGIRL

Contributed by joe-joe on Tuesday, 14th September 2004 @ 03:51:33 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

You are a wonder-girl, for your love leaves me wondering,
if I've died, and now I lay in the bosom of mercy and grace,

Sleeping within the gates of paradise...

There is no other that can compare with your beauty and grace,

In your arms heaven resides, as I'm blessed by your heart warming embrace...

If the truth is to be told:

Stars burn out, the moon occasionally disappears and the sun loses heat,

But the perfection of your glory ever shines and burns, burning a mark of love into my heart and soul, which will last forever and always,

Therefore with passion and desire, I lift my voice and sing your praise, and I rejoice with everlasting joy all my days...

You are a wonder-girl, for your love makes me wonder if I'm dreaming,

Sleeping a sleep that I never desire to awake,

For your goodness drives my heartbeat over the edge of the mountainous cliffs,

Into an open abyss of sweet pleasures evermore...therefore like the eagle I prout wings and soar...

There is no life without you, only the ho-hum days of an endless existence,

So with an ever charging and energizing love, I pursue your goodness with tenderness and with a soulful persistence...

Rainy days may come and overcast skies may persist, but the light of your contenance will make all my days sunny and bright, full of your glory and delight,

For you are a wonder-girl, a light, alit with great brillance, lighting my path with light for all of eternity...
