Her Form of Expression

Contributed by xemptydecemberx on Tuesday, 14th September 2004 @ 04:52:29 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

A single cut bleeds
Leaving an empression
Of a story of this girl
Dealing with depression
She cuts "away her pride
With her eyes shut tight
Staring at her insides"
She can't stop this downward spiral
She knows one wrong vein
And her bloodshed is final
But she takes those chances anyway
Because at this point her life
She no longer wants to stay
Even when healed her hands still shake
Because everything she's had has always been fake
So she writes a letter, addressed to all
Tells them she loves then and not to call
She turns the lights down really low
And inserts the knife nice and slow
Tearing herself apart again
Only this time its over,
She's reached the end
She doesn't cry or make a sound
Because you'll find her bled-out on the ground.

you've taken my breath away agian. I'm left speechless. You are such a talented writer with so much potential. Keep up the goodw ork and Keep your head held high. I've delt with suicide and am a "Manic Depressive" as the doctors like to say. If you need or want to talk I am here.
ALINA
p.s. I love your screen name. "EmptyDecember" sounds so mystical.
