One of those crazy days... it be
When everything goes wrong... you see
A wall... I find myself backed up against
Just to break these chains that bind me... I can't
'Cause... one of those crazy days... it be... again
Life started out the same... on this morning
As every morning... it does
Slow... until I get that first cup of coffee done
Then breaks... all hell loose
Like a floodgate... that has slipped it's noose
Then a wasted day... have I got... ensues
As here... I sit... in the fray... in the middle of the mess... thereof
At your picture... do I stare
As in my hands... I'm holding it
Your chin... do I trace and your lips
With my fingertip
Thinking... just of you
And wondering... how you are
Haven't seen you... in such a long... long while
Just to feel... the warmth of your touch
Just to feel... the love in your heart
Just to hear... your voice so sweet... so real
Just to gaze... into those beautiful eyes
And feel...
That... one of those crazy days... it be not
As here... I sit...
Just lost in your love...
