Dancing With My Demons

I am dancing with my demons,
Waltzing with these cruel heathens,
No longer in fear now I have power,
Ill cast them into their darkest hour.
The pace quickens as does my heartbeat,
They try so hard to step on my feet,
But I am always one step ahead,
For once & for all I want my demons dead.
As we twirl so fast then turn,
I feel happiness no longer the burn,
I can look them straight in the eye,
Without feeling scared or needing to cry.
I have become an expert in this field,
I have a powerful weapon which I wield,
A true heart & a pure soul,
They watch in horror as my love unfolds.
You see love is what made me strong,
I possessed this power all along,
Just didnt have anyone to set me free,
But now I just where Id longed to be.
Dancing with demons from my past,
Out into oblivion is where I will cast,
For too long a year have I have been hiding,
Now on the wings of love I am riding.

I'm glad you're dancing with your deamons now. It's a nice feeling, actually.
Wish I were dancing with mine... but they're dancing with me right now. Again.
