I Am His Poetry

Contributed by PoeticMystery on Thursday, 16th September 2004 @ 09:12:34 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Such a person can capture a heart of beauty
Explosive with dreams of unity
With the perfect girl
All the ins and outs of love
The tenderness of his thoughts
Feels like a soft brush of his hand on the reader's cheek
A glimpse of Heaven is what it seems
In his very work he uniquely explains the innocence of her heart
In which she has given freely-all of her happiness away
Just like a hostage with knife cutting his throat
And so the blood trickles down his neck
She was broken-I was broken
The tears trickle down her cheeks
He portrays the sweetest lady-this perfect man
Captivated by her beauty and perfection
Yet I am captivated by his
Romantically he writes,
The words that are written on her soul,
So I read on...
As I fall in love for he has the key to mine
I feel his heart-breaking from falling in love
With someone who is non-existent
Yet I am existent-I am here
Caught the glimpse of perfection in her eyes
From his dreams....
Trembling from reading for those eyes were mine
Only he knows the true appreciation
Of falling in (true) love-A love that's eternal
And the moment, I, the reader falls in love
With the words spoken from his soul
He sings a different tune about losing her
I am still here, still waiting....
My heart-breaks, as does his.
He keeps on searching for 'her'
And than I feel his hand wiping the tear from my eye
He writes more wishes of falling in love forever
I read on dreaming of the day he realizes
I am the one that is portrayed from
The ink spilled on his page
And I feel his every emotion
When his tear falls onto the page
I feel it on my cheek
I'm in love...

Wow, that was a really powerful poem. And really well written.
