From the Maze

Contributed by Hurretje on Friday, 17th September 2004 @ 07:20:53 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

A path stretches in front of me
As if to point my destiny
But I feel heavy like a stone
Just go away, leave me alone

For ages I'm just laying there
What happens to me, I don't care
Ready now to sleep for good
No more sorrows, all withstood

Suddenly a violent shake
I'm right up and stiff awake
It must have been a heavy quake
I just dozed off, gimme a break!

Suddenly a deep voice says
Don't give up now, no-one has
There's just one thing you should know
The road is long, so off you go!

I'm too tired, leave me be
It's my fate, my misery

Right then I'm put on my feet
Go! your life's yet not complete!
