Then There Was You

Contributed by Alovinmann on Friday, 17th September 2004 @ 12:18:07 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Maybe it's in the way she moves me
Maybe it's in the way she soothes me
She lights up the night
When she shows at my door
I never have felt quite like this before
I don't really know
But i know how it feels
This love is real

Then there was you
Right from the start
Yes it was you
Who captured my heart

We went away together one night
In each others arms
In the morning light
I want those feelings to stick and stay
Or will they crumble and blow away
I don't really know
But I know how it feels
This love is real

Then there was you
Right from the start
Yes it was you
Who captured my heart

When i think of her with another man
The scenes in my head I just can't stand
Come to me darling and hold me so tight
Make love together make it feel right
I don't really know
But I know how it feels
This love's for real

Then there was you
A thief from the start
You just didn't know
That you stole my heart
Don't rip it apart
Yeah you stole my heart

Maybe it's in the way she moves me
Maybe it's in the way she soothes me
She lights up the night
When she shows at my door
I never have felt quite like this before
I don't really know
But I know how it feels
This love is real

This ddin't really impress me to much until the third chorus stanza. After that, this song became one that is truelly form the heart.

Very touching from the very start, no doubt, this to you is real love.
I certainly hope so for the two you, she's a wonderful lady, and I hope she continues to move you!
Hugs
