The worst can come and pass
And do the same continuously
You would not have to worry
No matter what I am always here
I can try to ease the efforts of your ghosts
And what ever memories come to haunt
Will have to disappear just so very fast
When they want to claim you for their own
I will never let anyone hurt you
And I would sacrifice everything
To keep you safe with me always
My heart will be a shield and my wings
Will be the way that I can shelter you in
My soul is where you will give me strength
When you wake up in the morning and look aside
I will be there looking after you
Transfixed and entranced by the way you breathe
Because you are a girl right out of my reveries
And I love you always for everything
