Half my soul is in the sand
Half in the water that divides it
It lingers in the stone walls
Lives in the grass
Reflects in the memories that whisper the past
Under my bridge
I remember the fireworks
That 4th of July
The way your eyes lit up watching
And how I held you, Oh how I held you
That was the night I let the fire die
Under my bridge
Like the fish in the water
We ran around like fools
Kissed on the rocks and sat in the sand
You closed your eyes when I sang to the echoes
Told me I sounded like an angel
Under my bridge
We cried there together
Our tears like the rain that fell
Almost in silence we screamed at each other
You didn't love me anymore you said
Its funny how lies always twist your face
Under my bridge
And under that bridge I am someone
A lost glimpse in the world of surreal
I relive the past
That made up who I am today
And sometimes I still find myself lost
Under my bridge
I remember
