Do you possess the seat of life?

Contributed by girish on Sunday, 19th September 2004 @ 07:26:27 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

Is there is any bar to love that can restrain?
The tiny tear shall make the lover`s secret plain

Those who don`t have love possess everything alone
The loving people are for others to their very bone

This precious soul with body`s flesh and bone
In union yields one fruit, the life of love alone

This love springs from desire of union of sweet minds
And the bond of rare excelling friendship binds

Sweetness on earth and rarest bliss from above
Are the fruits of tranquil life of love

Those who deem love as virtue can sustain
Also help people who take on evil to restrain

The sun`s fierce ray dries up the boneless things
So also is the virtue of loveless beings

What joys of life the loveless soul may know?
Is like flowers on sapless trees, in barren soil may blow

Let the outward body be fitly and completely framed
What good will it bring when soul lies halt and maimed?

Bodies of loveless beings are bony framework clad with skin
But it becomes the seat of life when love resides within
