I am thankful to be here, In the world of what we live in. Not a day goes by without having a fear, Of what life could have been.
Every year we deal with many fears, For all the people we ever loved. And for those who could not be near, Are out trying to save the world with a push and a shove.
Too many of us had lost a good thing To something so evil and so bizarre. And now we find the world to be so frightening, Because we have to send a loved one overseas to be so far.
I wish there is something that I could do To help the families of a lost one to deal with their pain. Even if it is lending a hand to a few, And knowing that everything they lost won't be put to shame.
